Happy Halloween hangover week! As you come down from your sugar high, here are some new titles streaming on Netflix!
NEW TITLES ON NETFLIX
It’s the first of the month, which usually means a big influx of titles to Netflix. Today is no exception, and there are some great movies hitting the service today. '42,' the excellent Jackie Robinson biopic starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford, debuts on the streaming giant, as does kids classic 'Casper' starring Christina Ricci and 'Chappie,' an interesting box-office bomb from the director of the great “District 9.' Also hitting Netflix today are 'Field of Dreams' (for those of us who will need a baseball infusion after the World Series ends tonight), 'Get Rich or Die Tryin’' with 50 Cent, 'Hard Candy,' which is a GREAT little film starring Ellen Page, 'Men in Black,' 'Michael Clayton' with George Clooney, the original 'Scary Movie' from the Wayans brothers, and the Oscar-winning 'The Reader' with Kate Winslet. My favorite, however, is 'Oculus,' a truly mind-bending horror movie about a haunted mirror directed by Mike Flanagan, who did 'Gerald’s Game' and 'Hush' for Netflix. 'Oculus' was one of my favorite movies of 2013, and is one horror fans shouldn’t miss. All in all, 56 films hit Netflix today. Happy streaming!
